Perfect Pumpkin Pie
1 deep dish pie crust shell
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 can (16 ounces) solid pack pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 can (12 fluid ounces) evaporated milk
Preheat oven and baking sheet to 375F. Combine filling ingredients in
order given. Crump edge of pie shell to stand 1/2 inch above rim.
Place shell on preheated baking sheet. Pour filling into pie shell. Bake
at center of oven for 70 minutes or until knofe inserted in center comes
out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream.
